Validating the Sharing Rule is important as to know that whether the set up rule is fulfilling the item filtering expectations or not. Validation is a sort of testing that the administrators can do to test all the filters that they have set and this way they come to know that what are the items which are visible to the users. Here is how you can validate the Sharing Rule that you have set up:
2. Select the drop down bar (as highlighted in the image above) which says Show All on it by default and select the Restricted Domain that you want to check.
3. After selecting the Restricted Domain from the drop down, the filtered items will be listed and this is how you can validate the sharing rule.
Note: Only the Applications who has given access in the Restricted Domain will have the validation option.
