The Folders/Sub folders shared by the admin can be accessed by going to the Application tab of a workspace. The Application tab lists all the shared and created applications. Click on the Google Drive application to access what's been shared with you but the files are accessible depending on what access been given to domain members by the admin. Different access allows and disallows user to perform certain actions. The points mentioned below gives a detailed information on what actions can be performed with the provided access.


A ) In case only View access is given :

 

1. The shared folders/ sub folders will be viewable.

2. Files can be downloaded.

3. Files cannot be uploaded.

4. New folders/sub folders cannot be created.

 

B ) In case only Create access is given :


1. The shared folders/ sub folders will be viewable.

2. Files can be downloaded.

3. Files can be uploaded (less than 25 MB). Up-to 10 files can be attached at once.

4. New  folders/sub folders can be created.

When complete access (View and Create) is given, the user will be able to perform all the possible actions. The files available in google drive can be downloaded in different formats provided that they are created in google supported format. The files which are created in the google drive can be downloaded  in different formats and the files other than that can be downloaded only in the format they exists and not in any other format. The table below shows the supported google doc formats and the formats in which files, image etc can be downloaded.
